Next Saturday I should be back in San Pedro de Atacama, 3 years after my first trip to the Atacama desert together with my wife and son. This time, San Pedro will be the starting point of a two-week photography tour with Photographes du Monde.
Our group of 8 photographers will be guided by Jean-Michel Lenoir from PDM. After a few days in the San Pedro region to discover the salt flats and surrounding spots, we’ll head towards Bolivia. By then we should be accustomed to the high elevation of the altiplano and be able to enjoy colorful lagunas and the famous Salar de Uyuni. Finally we’ll return to Chile in the extreme North to admire the Salar de Sururire, Lake Chungara and Lauca National Park with the rare and fragile vicuñas . I’m very excited!
