In November 2014, I took a photography tour in Tuscany (Italy) with a small group of 5 photographers. The tour was organized by Photographes du Monde and guided by pro-photographer Jean-Michel Lenoir. We spent 5 days essentially in Val d’Orcia, hosted in wonderful Agriturismo Il Rigo and the trip ended-up in the beautiful city of Siena.  Weather was not the best but interesting lights and cloud formations could be captured on a few occasions. Food and wine were paramount but that you won’t see 😉

In 2004 the Val d’Orcia was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. This region, characterized by man-made nature, is a must for photography. I hope you’ll enjoy these photos.

October 2017 and new photo-trip to Tuscany three years after my first visit. This time our guide was pro-photographer Genaro Bardy. Weather was much nicer and we could enjoy great sunrises and sunsets. We visited more or less the same spots compared to 2014 but with a start in Pisa to shoot the famous leaning tower.
